Your preacher is scared to tell you this....

These words come from the full gospel of Jesus Christ! Read the red letter for yourself. Trials, pain, self sacrifice, and tribulation are necessary to enter into the kingdom of heaven. When we endure pain and suffering, still glorify the Father, and continue doing His will instead of our own; we are most like Jesus in these moments. These are the moments you were sent here for. We have all learned, if we are not in the middle of a storm, one is always brewing. That means we know it is coming. Are you preparing for the storm, or are you relaxing and watching Netflix while scrolling FB, IG, Tik Tok? When everyone hears a hurricane is on the way, preparation and frenzy begin immediately. When you enter any store, you can tell. A storm is coming.

It is in our greatest pain, storm, wilderness, fire, desert, valley, trial that we make the most impact. It's easy to glorify The Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit during times of blessings and in an abundance of joy. Are we still able to do it in the pain? Or do we give up? Jesus did not give up.

This place is simple. Who is able and willing to follow His rules; no matter what? Follow all of the rules; not just the ones we like, or the ones most easiest. Who is able to drown out the distractions and focus on His will? Who is willing to sacrifice their self, just like Jesus did? Spots in heaven require sacrifice and good works. Jesus happened to pay the ultimate one! Reserving His well deserved seat at the right hand of the Father.

The red letters, Jesus says it over and over and over. It's actually pretty scary, it is where you meet fear. He says way too many times; First gather up the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them, but the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, the Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and they will throw them into the furnace of fire. Did anyone notice all of the people He is referring to, they are in His kingdom? They claim to be followers of Christ, but practice lawlessness. He calls them stumbling blocks.

As we learned; the ones He despised the most. The religious leaders; leading His family straight into hell. Woe unto you....

The preachers should be preparing us; just like the 6 church in Revelations. Nothing has changed in 2,000 years but time. The "abundance of blessing" is blinding. It makes us think we are good. We deserve it. We are special. We deserve exactly what the early church endured. Ripped apart by wild animals, set on fire like candlesticks. The truth is painful, the main reason the leaders stay away from it. The truth tells you to pray that you don't fall into tempatation. Why? Because you might just choose to stay down there. The truth tells you to stay IN salvation. Jesus' words cut, that is what we need to hear. The bitter truth. No one wants to hear this. These are the words that will allow you entrance into the gates of heaven.

Not the infamous words they are telling us now, you are now saved. They have no authority!

What is Baptism?

Baptism prepares the body to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit!

The practice of baptism in the early church was performed in the name of Jesus Christ. The disciples were trained by Jesus for three years. I believe they would have fully done as Jesus instructed them to do so.  In the second century; John Martyr, an early father of the Catholic Church changed the name into which people were baptized. To the name of [Titles] the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Obey His Commandments

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. For whoever has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith. 1 John 5:3

Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." John 14:15

Call to Discipleship

I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35

And He was saying to them all, "If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me." Luke 9:23
